Maintenance Engineer

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team at a luxury hotel in South Kensington, London.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Shift Engineer to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with a mix of day and night shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance works, as well as monitoring the building management system (BMS) and ensuring that the contractual efficiency meets all relevant KPI and SLA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings
- Carry out air conditioning and water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and filter changes
- Perform plumbing duties, including unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers
- Monitor the BMS system and ensure that it is functioning correctly
- Carry out basic electrical duties, including lamp changes
- Conduct general building fabric maintenance
- Escort specialist subcontractors as required
- Experience working in a hotel or commercial building maintenance environment
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled with the ability to work on a variety of tasks
- Good communication and customer service skills
