Lead Rail Project Scheduler

We are seeking an experienced Lead Rail Project Scheduler to lead the planning and scheduling functions for complex rail infrastructure projects. This role ensures projects are effectively planned, monitored, and delivered on time and within budget, meeting the high standards required within the rail industry.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to transformative rail projects while being part of a collaborative and innovative team. You will be responsible for applying planning techniques, including earned value management (EVM), to effectively monitor progress and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply planning techniques, including earned value management (EVM), to effectively monitor progress and performance.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules for railway infrastructure projects.
- Oversee the planning and scheduling of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems in rail environments.
- Work collaboratively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to provide strategic direction and resolve planning challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of planning and scheduling methodologies and tools used within the rail industry.
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale rail or transportation infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of rail-specific safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills tailored to the rail environment.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a competitive pension scheme.
