Special Education Needs Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced SEN professionals to deliver tailored learning experiences for students with diverse needs.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with students with SEN, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of lessons under the guidance of qualified teachers
- Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions
- Collaborating with SENCOs and other staff members to create inclusive learning environments
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the teaching team
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of SEN requirements and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
- Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic educational setting
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
