We are seeking a talented Learning Disability Social Services Coordinator to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a key member of our Learning Disabilities Service, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering individuals to live their best lives.

About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity for the development of highly competent levels of skill in assessment, support planning, intervention, and evaluation through working in complex situations.

You will need to have the ability to be creative, innovative, and search for creative solutions to improve Learning Disability services and outcomes for the people of North Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our Herefordshire & Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust colleagues who provide specialist Learning Disability services across the County.
  • Develop and implement innovative care plans that meet the needs of individuals with learning disabilities.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A highly motivated social worker with experience of strengths-based practice.
  • An interest in furthering your professional development in a dynamic team by undertaking statutory social work.
  • The ability to work in line with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

We offer a range of benefits including:

  • A competitive salary of £23,000 per annum, plus a market forces payment of £1,824.
  • 26 days paid holiday (pro rata for part-time staff).
