Job Description

Job Summary: Expedia Group is seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing analytical support, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to optimize our telecom expense management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and provisioning for telecom services, ensuring seamless execution and minimizing disruptions.
  • Provide guidance and support to the order desk for telecom provisioning, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely delivery.
  • Accountable for data and voice inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Prepare updates on spending, market trends, and patterns, capacity management, and circuit usage management.
  • Participate in key meetings with global teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Partner with finance and procurement to plan and budget for telecom expenses, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain and update invoice processing for telecom expense management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Communicate and enforce adoption of process across core infrastructure teams, ensuring consistency and standardization.
  • Develop and maintain records of asset decommissioning and disposal, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, modeling, forecasting, and presentation skills.
  • High-level intellectual curiosity, strong sense of ownership, and passion for delivery.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work across levels and functions.
  • Results-driven and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and small.
  • Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Passion for using data to drive better decision-making.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business management, financial management, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing IT and telecom expenses for a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
  • Previous experience utilizing a 3rd party Telecom Expense Management tool preferred.
