About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Receptionist to join our team at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer care to patients and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Manage the reception area, including answering phone calls, handling correspondence, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Coordinate appointments, bookings, and referrals, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, and charge sheets, as well as other administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the department.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as well as occasional overtime.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
