We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our care services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people in our residential care home.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
- Lead and manage a team of care professionals to provide high-quality care and support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other professionals, to promote the welfare of young people.
- Ensure the home is maintained to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Manage and resolve any complaints or concerns in a fair and timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
- Relevant qualifications, including a Level 3 in Children's Residential Care and a Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- A full UK driving license.
