About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at CareTech Group in Malvern. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals to provide high-quality care and support to young people in our residential care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person.
  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals to ensure high-quality care and support is provided.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of young people.
  • Ensure the home is maintained to a high standard and that all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of the home.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a residential care setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential, with Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred.
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
