We are currently recruiting for a Teacher Education Programme Manager to lead our Initial Teacher Education (ITE) partnership and mentoring work at Liverpool John Moores University. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of teaching and learning in the region and work with a passionate community of academics and professional support staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the professional placement experience for primary and secondary programmes in collaboration with Programme Leaders and the Partnership Team. They will also contribute to shaping the UK teacher education landscape, including regulatory and inspection frameworks.

As a member of our School of Education's Management Team, you will play a key role in driving innovation and excellence in teaching and learning. You will work closely with Programme Leaders, the Partnership Team, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality ITE programmes.

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant undergraduate degree (with QTS), or PGCE (QTS) and holding a PhD, or professional qualification and significant related professional experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as the ability to inspire and collaborate with others.

We offer a competitive salary package, which is estimated to be around £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. LJMU is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
