Job Title: Special Education Teacher - Inclusive Learning

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £40,000 per annum is available for this SEN Early Careers Teacher role in Liverpool. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be part of an inclusive and supportive school community focused on promoting a loving academic environment for students with additional needs.

The successful candidate will join an EYFS/KS1 class of 8 children with diverse learning requirements, including ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering lesson plans under the guidance of a senior colleague
  • Implementing special education strategies to cater to individual learning needs
  • Promoting inclusion and acceptance among all students
  • Providing one-to-one support to pupils while addressing their unique requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or HLTA certification
  • Recent experience working with children and young people, particularly those with SEND
  • Strong behaviour management skills to create a positive classroom environment
  • Knowledge of speech therapy techniques for language enhancement
