About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEN teacher to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a dedicated and passionate professional, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to students with complex needs, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
  • Work closely with a team of professionals, including teaching assistants and specialists, to address the educational and emotional needs of students.
  • Implement and track Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), ensuring student progress is closely monitored.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience working with students with additional needs
  • Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
  • A good understanding of additional needs and strategies to support young learners
  • High expectations for student outcomes and a passion for helping them achieve their full potential
  • Must have a valid driving licence and access to your own car
