The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of the National bereavement pathway and be prepared to engage with bereaved families, undertaking clinical working and teaching as required.
This is a part-time role that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role
- Act as a clinical specialist providing verbal and written information to bereaved families.
- Enable the bereaved to access their entitlements by liaising with outside agencies.
- Be a resource for medical, nursing, and midwifery staff on physical, psychological, and administrative aspects of bereavement care.
- Support and teach staff in formal and informal settings on all aspects of pregnancy-associated bereavement care.
- Be aware of research and best practice in bereavement and identify through audit and other means areas for improvement in bereavement care.
