We are seeking an ambitious midwife to fill the role of Ward Management Coordinator as Lead Digital Midwife. This position offers a chance to grow professionally and make a significant impact on patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, with the possibility of job sharing between two hospitals. You will be responsible for ensuring that safe standards of care are maintained and facilitating the smooth day-to-day running of the ward within allocated resources.

As a Lead Digital Midwife, you will work closely with other agencies, providing management, teaching, support, and empowerment to junior and newly qualified midwives and healthcare assistants. You will also take on 'Bleep Holding' responsibility on a rotational basis and act as Delivery Suite Coordinator if required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the ward's day-to-day activities and managing staff members
  • Ensuring safe standards of care are maintained and developing strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Providing training and support to junior staff members
  • Participating in meetings and contributing to decision-making processes
  • Taking on 'Bleep Holding' responsibility on a rotational basis
  • Acting as Delivery Suite Coordinator if required
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is around £50,000-£65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
