Triage Care Director

We are looking for a skilled midwife to lead our triage care team as Lead Digital Midwife. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make a positive impact on patient care.
About the PositionThis is a full-time position, with the option to job share between two hospitals. You will be responsible for ensuring that safe standards of care are maintained and facilitating the smooth day-to-day running of the ward within allocated resources.
As a Lead Digital Midwife, you will work closely with other agencies, providing management, teaching, support, and empowerment to junior and newly qualified midwives and healthcare assistants. You will also take on 'Bleep Holding' responsibility on a rotational basis and act as Delivery Suite Coordinator if required.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Lead the triage care team and oversee the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of programs of care
- Maintain safe standards of care and manage the day-to-day operations of the ward
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Collaborate with other agencies to provide high-quality patient care
- Take on 'Bleep Holding' responsibility on a rotational basis
- Act as Delivery Suite Coordinator if required
The estimated annual salary for this position is around £55,000-£70,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, unsocial hours payments, and access to various NHS discounts.
