About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the Preston area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing individualized attention and care to ensure their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Provide individualized attention and care to students with specific needs
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications (TA3 or higher)
  • Knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 national curriculum
  • Classroom experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
