Preston, United Kingdom Prospero Teaching Full time

New School Year, new job?

Are you looking for a great start to the September term in a new TA role?

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who has supported children with SEN on a 1:1 basis?

Here at Prospero, I am working with a lovely, friendly primary school in Preston that requires a patient, sensitive Teaching Assistant. The child is based full-time in their mainstream classroom but requires help to engage and progress with their learning activities. The Teaching Assistant needs to have a calm, patient approach, and be able to provide plenty of encouragement and appropriate questioning and communication.

I would like to recruit an experienced, adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide excellent support for the child and help them to make progress in all areas. You must be able to integrate into a staff team easily and be a patient and understanding person who can build relationships confidently with children with additional needs.

This role is to start as soon as possible in September, and will be required until the end of the academic year, with the potential that the role will continue onto the following academic year. Prior experience of working in UK primary schools as an SEN Teaching Assistant is essential, and you will also need to have good curriculum knowledge and have a relevant qualification to be considered for the role.

It is essential that you have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to pay for a new one at a cost of £45.80.

If you are a sensitive person with strong communication skills and can offer effective support to children with additional needs in all areas of their development, please apply now
