Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to support children with special educational needs (SEN) in a school setting. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with complex needs, non-verbal communication, and moderate learning difficulties
- Work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide tailored support
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to students
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- GCSE Maths and English
- Computer literacy
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training
- Full-time position with a competitive rate of pay
