The Cambridge Consulting Services is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our Police Officer Trainee Program. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in public safety and law enforcement.

Job Description

This is a paid, benefitted full-time position with a two-year commitment for Cambridge residents between ages of 18-23 who are interested in pursuing a career in public safety. The selected candidate will participate in an extensive classroom training program, cooperative education, and on-the-job training opportunities.

Estimated Salary:

$50,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist community outreach and traffic units with special events
  • Participate in criminal investigations, crime scene services, and court prosecution
  • Maintain records, update data, and research projects

In addition to these responsibilities, Police Cadets will become familiar with the daily operations and functions of the department and culture of its community policing-related work through temporary assignments throughout the various sections of the department.
