Job Overview

We are seeking an on-site Inspector, Boiler, and Pressure Vessel Program in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting public safety through the periodic/in-service inspection and certification of boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote public safety by conducting regular inspections and certifications of boilers, pressure vessels, and pressure piping
  • Conduct shop inspections for the manufacturing of boilers and pressure vessels
  • Apply technical proficiency by conducting welder and brazer tests and monitoring repairs and alterations to boilers and pressure vessels

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of related CSA and ASME BPV codes, the Technical Standards and Safety Act, and BPV Regulations. This is a challenging role that requires daily travel, so a valid Ontario driver's license is required.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year (dependent on education, work experience, and licensing). We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous pension plan.

Requirements
  • Qualified to write the Ontario Certificate of Competency
  • Five years' experience in the BPV industry
  • Strong understanding of related CSA and ASME BPV codes, the Technical Standards and Safety Act, and BPV Regulations
  • Valid Ontario driver's license
