About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Two Saints, a leading provider of support services for homeless individuals. In this role, you will work closely with our young people, aged 16-21, who are care leavers or looked after children.

As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide emotional and practical support to our clients, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals. You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting young people with daily tasks, encouraging their involvement in education, training, and employment activities, and empowering them to make positive changes in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people in developing life skills, including budgeting, cooking, and household management.
  • Encourage participation in education, training, and employment activities.
  • Work with external partners to maximize opportunities for our clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to organizational standards.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our young people, adhering to safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:

  • A clear passion for working with homeless individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of benefits systems and tenancy legislation (desirable).
