We are looking for a skilled support worker to join our team at The Acorn social group, Bracknell Forest Council. Salary: £22,500 per annum (pro rata).

About the Role

This role involves working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, supporting them in their daily lives and promoting social inclusion. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and running activities, such as arts and crafts, games nights, and more.

The social group provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals to engage in recreational activities and develop new skills.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Supporting and organizing activities that promote social inclusion, including arts and crafts and games nights
  2. Assisting in setting up and running activities, ensuring everyone is included and valued
  3. Attending training sessions as required to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities or autism
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Right to Work check
