Kennedys is seeking a highly skilled Tax Disputes and Investigations Associate to join our Commercial division in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly regarded team with real opportunities for career progression and professional growth.

Our Tax Disputes and Investigations team covers both direct and indirect contentious tax matters, including managing tax risk, HMRC investigations, and tax litigation before the tax tribunals and higher courts. We act for corporates and private clients in many jurisdictions around the world, supporting them through crisis-related issues with tax authorities and regulatory bodies.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of tax law and procedures, as well as experience of running tax cases in a team environment. You will also have excellent client contact and business development skills, with the ability to attend events and build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Required experience:

  • UK qualified solicitors, barristers, or tax qualified individuals with relevant experience.
  • An understanding of, and interest in, tax law and procedures relevant to the level of experience.
  • Experience of running tax cases in a team environment.
  • Previous client contact and attendance at business development events.
