Kennedys is a global law firm with a strong reputation for dispute resolution and advisory services. We're seeking a highly skilled Tax Disputes and Investigations Associate to join our Commercial division in London.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team that covers both direct and indirect contentious tax matters. You'll be responsible for managing tax risk, HMRC investigations, and tax litigation before the tax tribunals and higher courts. Our team acts for corporates and private clients in many jurisdictions around the world, supporting them through crisis-related issues with tax authorities and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax risk and advise on tax compliance
  • Lead HMRC investigations and tax litigation
  • Act for corporates and private clients in tax disputes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • UK qualified solicitors, barristers, or tax qualified individuals with relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of tax law and procedures
  • Experience of running tax cases in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
