Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Post Production to lead our post-production team. As the ideal candidate, you will have at least 10 years of experience in editing and/or animation, with a strong track record of success in managing post-production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Collaborate closely with producers and film directors to develop post-production plans that align with creative goals and technical requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and enhance the post-production workflow, including editing, animation, sound design, and color, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement standards and protocols for post-production processes to maintain high-quality creative outputs.
  • Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the post-production team, promoting a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in post-production to drive creativity and technical advancement within the department.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in editing and/or animation, with a proven track record of success in leading post-production efforts on high-profile projects.
  • High energy, ambitious, and extremely motivated to be the best at what you do, and constantly eager to learn.
  • Extensive knowledge of post-production workflows, techniques, and the latest software/tools in the industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing creative teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with directors, team members, and external partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Animation, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position with benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
