About This Role

We are seeking a Post Production Engineer to join our team at ITV Studios in Manchester. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our productions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage media and perform or support editing processes, utilising current broadcast equipment and emerging IT technologies.
  • Assist senior members of the department and develop less senior members of the technical team.
  • Collaborate with production teams to deliver high-quality content and ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of post-production workflows, Avid Media Composer, broadcast standards, and file formats.
  • High proficiency with broadcast IT and equipment, NLEs, DAWs, GFX software, transcoders, and standards converters.
  • Vision and hearing capable of discerning video and audio quality to broadcast standards.
