Our esteemed client, a leading full-service production agency, seeks an accomplished Head of Post-Production to spearhead their post-production department.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in post-production, with a strong background in leadership and team management. They should be well-versed in industry-standard tools and software, including Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Suite, and Da Vinci Resolve.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of editors, sound engineers, and motion graphic designers across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes for the post-production department, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee all aspects of post-production, from video editing and color correction to sound design and visual effects, guaranteeing exceptional quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical and creative issues, staying up-to-date with the latest technology and innovations.
  • Implement and maintain industry-standard post-production tools and systems, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Support the team through editing and motion graphics on projects as needed, promoting a culture of creativity and excellence.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of post-production experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expert knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Suite, and Da Vinci Resolve.
  • Strong understanding of video editing, color correction, sound design, and VFX workflows.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

A Competitive Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, reflects the company's commitment to attracting top talent in the field.
