The UK is a renowned hub for film post-production, and Netflix's UK Film Post Production team is looking for an experienced Senior Post Production Director to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of post-production across a diverse slate of films.

This role requires a strong background in film post-production, with experience as a Post Production Supervisor and/or Producer. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Creative Content, Physical Production, and VFX, to ensure that creative requirements are met with best-in-class post production. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the UK post-production community and hold key relationships within it.

In this role, you will also manage at the show level, working on multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for setting up key creative approval sessions, determining post vendors, and collaborating with internal teams to lock schedules. Your ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple urgent needs will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Setup of Projects:
    • Work with internal teams and external production partners to define dailies and post workflows in line with Netflix requirements achieving excellence in colour management, deliverables, and archival delivery.
  • Post Budgeting and Scheduling:
    • Review creative briefs along with the Creative team and provide best-in-class knowledge on post production requirements, flagging any potential issues.
    • Review, prepare, and vet show budgets and schedules, providing feedback internally and externally on viability and risks.
    • Determine the key post vendors according to each project's needs, accommodating creative vision and relationships, budget needs, and meeting training requirements.
  • Content Team Alignment:
    • Set up key creative approval sessions where required such as final mix playbacks, VFX reviews, or color correction reviews.
    • Work with the content teams as a valued thought partner, speaking as a subject expert to ensure that creative requirements are met with best-in-class post production across our film slate.

Salary Range: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
