About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Domestic Services Manager to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Domestic Services Department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained across our hospitals.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of Domestic Assistants to ensure that they are fully trained and equipped to deliver high-quality domestic services.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure that our hospitals are clean and safe for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Work closely with our Facilities Manager to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Manage risk assessments and incidents, incorporating current Health and Safety legislation.
- Support the development of our staff through supervision, appraisals, and personal development plans.
