Domestic Services Manager Community Hospitals Internal Only

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Domestic Services Manager to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Domestic Services Department, ensuring that our hospitals and community facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Domestic Services Department, ensuring that all areas of the hospital are clean and well-maintained.
- Supervise and support a team of Domestic Assistants, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure that all facilities management activities are coordinated and effective.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the Domestic Services Department is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the Domestic Services Department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to carry out their duties safely and effectively.
- Work with the Safety Risk and Security Manager to identify and mitigate any risks to staff and patients.
