Senior Civil Engineer Position

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is working in partnership with an ambitious engineering and environmental consultancy company to find a talented Senior Structural Engineer. The successful candidate will lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and client needs.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will conduct structural analyses and calculations, oversee the preparation of detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects within established timelines and budgets. You will also provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, and actively engage in site inspections, assessments, and structural surveys.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field, a Master's degree is a plus, and Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartered status. You will also require minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, proficiency in structural design software, and strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards.
