We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Children's Nurse to join our team on Haygarth Ward, providing holistic care for patients with varying ophthalmic conditions. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Ophthalmologists, and Admin staff to deliver safe and effective nursing care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality nursing care to patients, adhering to the NMC Code and Trust policies.
  • To supervise non-registered staff as stipulated by the NMC under the requirements of delegation.
  • To participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Children's Nurse or evidence of qualification if newly qualified.
  • Degree in Nursing.
  • Ability to work without supervision and use IT systems such as Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of national health and social care policy.
