Assessor Role for Children and Young People's Nursing

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of External Examiner for our BSc programme in Children and Young People's Nursing. As an External Examiner, you will be responsible for evaluating student work, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to the development of our educational programmes.
About the Position:
The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong background in children's nursing, with recent experience in a university appointment. They must not have been involved with the University of Sunderland as an examiner or employee within the last five years. A children's nursing qualification, registered with the NMC, and commitment to inter-professional education are essential requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating student work and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of our educational programmes.
- Engaging with academics and students to ensure the highest standards of excellence.
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
