Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Service Coordinator to join our client in Staverton and work within a family-friendly team spirit built on decades of hard work. The company is the leading specialist in the fire and security industry, installing and maintaining fire and security equipment and systems to a wide variety of new and existing customers throughout the UK.
About the Role:
This permanent opportunity involves communicating with customers to book engineer servicing visits at customer sites and dealing with any general queries in a professional and timely manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for calling customers to agree servicing visits for delayed and outstanding appointments.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with the engineering teams. You will also be responsible for scheduling engineering resource efficiently, minimising travel time and wasted journeys.
Main Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to book engineer servicing visits and resolve queries
- Call customers to agree servicing visits for delayed and outstanding appointments
- Manage service engineers' diaries and maintain service levels on maintenance contracts
- Process engineer documentation and electronically file paperwork
- Update customer databases with required documentation
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and processes
Salary Details:
The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
