About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mental health practitioner to join our team as a Clinical Lead for our Arms service. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing supervision, contributing to team and service development, and liaising with partners to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment and advice or signposting to patients and their families, including triaging referrals for people who may be considered at risk of developing psychosis.
  • Act as an initial point of contact for referrals and provide information/advice regarding psychosis, its management and pathways into mental health and related services.
  • Develop and lead therapeutic interventions for service users with a range of mental health difficulties, including individual therapy/support to young people who have been identified as being At risk of developing a First Episode of Psychosis.
  • Liaise with other disciplines and agencies to ensure best practice is shared and contribute to team and service development.
Requirements
  • Significant post-registration experience in multi-disciplinary community mental health services.
  • Experience of managing risk of clients in crisis and assessing, care-planning, and evaluating in conjunction with clients and carers.
  • Experience and knowledge of working with people with mental health problems and delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation of cases to multi-disciplinary case conferences.
  • Able to carry out evidence-based interventions and work autonomously and independently.
