Strategic Financial Lead – South West London ICB

About the Role:
The South West London Integrated Care Board is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Lead to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to lead the financial management of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and complex financial and commercial advice and support to managers within the ICB.
- Ensure the provision of effective business partnering to all departments of the ICB.
- Be accountable for all aspects of the ICB management accounting service.
- Manage the Financial Management team responsible for Mental Health, Community, BCF & Hospices.
- Present highly complex and highly sensitive financial information to large audiences of varying experience, disciplines and seniority.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, financial and other aspects of legislation and NHS finance policies.
- Experience and expertise in finance management, strategic and staff leadership roles.
- Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment.
- Previously responsible for a budget, involved in budget setting and working knowledge of financial processes.
