We are seeking a skilled Childcare Assessor to join our team at Gi Group in Rotherham. The ideal candidate will have experience in an early years setting, preferably as a Nursery Officer or similar role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support learners to achieve their best by carrying out assessments and observations in workplace settings using an electronic portfolio.
  • Teach and learn within qualifications to ensure learners meet their goals.
  • Mark learner work and provide constructive feedback to aid development.
  • Set SMART individual targets to track progress and record achievements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified in Early Years (L3 or above).
  • Hold an Assessor award or be willing to obtain one.
  • Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and organized working methods.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Google Classroom proficiency.
