Telecare Equipment Installation and Maintenance Specialist

This is a rewarding role involving the delivery of high-quality assistive technology services that empower elderly and vulnerable individuals to live independently in their homes.
The successful candidate will work 17 hours a week over a minimum of 3 days, Monday- Friday, with flexible hours to fit around personal circumstances. A competitive salary of £10,183 per year is offered, along with various benefits, including an employee wellbeing package, cycle-to-work initiative, discounted shopping vouchers, corporate training programme, employer pension scheme, holiday days, and mental health first aiders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Implementation: Conduct thorough assessments to determine suitable telecare equipment for each customer's unique environment, and implement solutions accordingly.
- Equipment Demonstration and Training: Provide clear demonstrations on how to use the equipment, ensuring customers feel confident and supported.
- Customer Support and Record Keeping: Offer ongoing advice and support to customers and their families about assistive technology services, and maintain accurate customer records.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in providing care or support for older or vulnerable individuals.
- Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with assistive technology equipment and ability to program and install it effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and provide on-call support as needed.
- Time Management: Able to prioritise and manage workloads, working without direct supervision.
- Driving License: Valid driving license and access to transportation are essential for this role.
