About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Counsel and Company Secretary to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide strategic legal advice to our Executive Directors and Operations Board, ensuring that our business operations are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing commercial legal advice on a range of matters, including corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance
  • Developing and implementing our company legal strategy, working closely with our in-house legal specialists and third-party professionals
  • Attending PLC and Operations Board Meetings, ensuring accurate minutes are recorded and statutory obligations are met
About You

We are looking for a qualified solicitor with a proven track record of providing commercial legal advice in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will have a strong understanding of corporate governance and company secretary statutory responsibilities, and be able to demonstrate a commercial approach to decision-making.

Key requirements include:

  • 5 years PQE (or equivalent) with experience of working in-house for a growing commercial business
  • Chartered Secretary qualification (ICSA or equivalent) or willingness to obtain
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of developing and managing a team of legal professionals
