Nurse Care Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment in the Chelmsford, Essex area. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional care and service to our residents.
This nursing home offers a welcoming and homely environment for individuals with various needs, delivering high standards of care, flexibility, and exceptional service.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a current active NMC Pin as a qualified Registered Nurse.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all residents receive quality care by undertaking accurate assessments, planning, and delivery of care plans, along with effective handovers.
- Maintaining NMC Code of Professional Conduct and meeting registration requirements at all times.
- Deploying and supervising staff within the care team, ensuring tasks are completed during duty periods and residents receive required care.
- Undertaking nursing tasks, including medication distribution, dressing, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
- Providing support, guidance, and instruction on care activities, especially during new staff induction and mentoring.
- Contributing to and attending staff meetings and training sessions.
- Liaising with healthcare professionals to maintain a holistic approach to resident care.
The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:
- Good nursing experience
- Excellent clinical skills
- Able to write care plans
- Able to show empathy and warmth
- Able to perform general nursing tasks such as peg feeding, wound care, phlebotomy, etc.
- Able to demonstrate a can-do attitude
