Seeking a Financial Accountant with Strong Credit Control Skills at Freightserve Recruitment

We are a leading freight forwarder based in Slough, Berkshire, looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to manage our Sales Ledger and ensure timely credit collections. This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective debt chasing and payment collection techniques
  • Maintaining accurate account statements and resolving queries efficiently
  • Building strong relationships with clients through regular communication
  • Managing customer accounts, daily bank downloads, and cash allocation
  • Processing credit card payments and daily invoices
  • Preparing weekly bank reports and monthly sales figures
