Finance Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Finance Accounts Assistant to join our finance department, working across multiple entities.
Oury Clark is a professional firm that takes a problem-solving approach by combining expertise from various disciplines. As a Finance Accounts Assistant, you will work closely with an expert team of business advisors, including Chartered Accountants, Chartered Tax Advisers, Financial Advisors, Lawyers, Insolvency Practitioners, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Enter timesheets from staff into our time system, reconcile, and produce month-end reports.
- Coding and inputting supplier invoices as part of the purchase ledger function.
- Review due dates of invoices ensuring they are signed off in time for payment runs.
- Process payments through the bank and send out remittance.
- Liaise with suppliers on queries.
- Recharge client costs accordingly.
- Review submitted expenses and pay employee expenses.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Raise sales invoices to clients as part of the sales ledger function.
- Post receipts daily.
- Upload monthly charges onto clients' WIP.
- Liaise with clients on invoice queries.
- Publish monthly cost reports to partners for billing.
- Produce daily receipts reports for partners.
- Maintain client and supplier databases, including creating new accounts, amending addresses, archiving closed accounts, etc.
- Ensure credit card spend is coded weekly and all spend supported by receipts.
- Administer client money accounts, including posting receipts, payments, opening & closing accounts.
- Reconcile and post petty cash and company credit cards.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on ad-hoc queries.
- Maintain digital filing records of all paperwork.
- Support other tasks within the finance team, including credit control.
