Job Title: Adult Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Adult Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders in Care, a well-established provider of complex care packages within the community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing face-to-face support to adult clients and their families, creating personalized care plans, and working closely with a core team of carers to train and support them with their clinical skills and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent communication skills and ability to train clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Be visible and know the patients in caseload by regular care rounds and proactive home visits
  • Be an active member of the regional team and attend and contribute to team meetings
  • Respond to and investigate clinical complaints, in line with policy and risk management
  • Submit clinical reports and updates to CCGs regarding their packages as per contractual agreements
  • Maintain clinical updates
  • Driving licence and use of a vehicle for work
  • A Valid NMC Pin
Requirements
  • RGN with an active NMC PIN
  • Supportive management style that can bring out the best in others
  • Up to date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years
  • Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families and the MDT
  • Suitable for Band 5 / Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential
