Exciting Opportunity for a Business Account Manager in Construction

We are seeking an experienced Business Account Manager to join our team at GPS Recruitment. As a valued partner to a long-standing client, we are looking for an individual who can secure new business opportunities and build strong relationships in the Romford area and Northern M25.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing new business, ideally in the high-rise market. This is a technical and specification-based sales role that requires attention to detail and a methodical approach. The successful candidate will be familiar with looking at Scope of Works and Employers Requirements and ensuring tenders are fully compliant with the documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Securing new Contractors and developing long-term relationships to secure future schemes.
  • Finalizing specification tenders, submitting all relevant information to internal departments to arrange design and quotations for pending schemes.
  • Presenting quotations and designs to Contractors post tender.
  • Organizing site set-up meetings prior to handing over to the Project Management Team when sites go live.
  • Working closely with the team to ensure excellent client service.
  • Building relationships with key customers and growing accounts.
  • Achieving turnover growth within existing and new accounts.

We are looking for an individual with previous experience of scheduling and managing plots, including check measures and readiness inspections. The successful candidate will have an understanding of platforms such as A-Site and the importance of ensuring drawings are at Status A before kitchens are called off. A full UK driving license and a relevant site H&S card are required for this role.
