We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Homeless Support Specialist to join our team at InstaStaff. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for delivering a responsive and customer-focused temporary accommodation tenancy support service that enables residents to sustain their homeless centre tenancy and successfully move on into suitable secured accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustain Tenancies: Deliver a high-quality tenancy support service to residents and effectively respond to the changing needs of customers and legislation.
  • Housing Advice: Provide homelessness and housing advice, develop and implement TA Move On plans, and help residents access additional support needed for timely transitions into suitable secured accommodation.
  • Centre Operations: Support the day-to-day operation of the homeless centre, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and statutory targets for homelessness and pre-tenancy services.

The estimated salary for this position is £22,776 per annum, equivalent to £12.00 per hour. This rate is in line with the national average for similar roles in the UK.

Requirements:
  • Empathy and ability to support people
  • Experience within a similar role
  • An enhanced DBS
