Job Title: Accommodation and Housing Officer

We are currently looking for a skilled Homelessness Prevention Specialist to join our team in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will play a key role in reducing backlogs, improving application processing times, and delivering high-quality housing solutions to individuals in need.

Salary: £28-32 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

This position involves working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to secure suitable housing options for clients. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the triage function to minimize waiting times and facilitate prompt resolution of homeless applications.
  2. Working with local authorities, housing providers, and support agencies to deliver high-quality housing solutions.
  3. Managing a diverse caseload of housing cases, making informed decisions on homelessness applications, including triage and casework.
