At Premier Christian Communications Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Homeless Prevention Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide drop-in housing advice and crisis management support to victims of domestic abuse, working closely with the Council to meet its homelessness prevention and relief duties.

The salary for this role is £18 - 19 per hour (dependent on experience), making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to make a difference in their community. With a strong focus on supporting survivors of domestic abuse, the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Housing Act and all relevant legislation, as well as experience within the field of domestic abuse, housing options, homelessness, and/or housing support.

Key responsibilities include conducting housing need assessments, managing a caseload of survivors/families affected by domestic abuse, and delivering expert advice and assistance on homelessness within a domestic abuse context. The successful candidate will also be required to develop and update Personal Housing Plans with survivors, ensuring they remain relevant while homelessness prevention and relief duties are owed.

As a Domestic Abuse Housing Support Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting the Council to prevent and relieve homelessness.
