**The Role**

As an HR Officer, you will be part of the HR department and serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related queries. Your duties will involve a combination of HR generalist and administrative tasks, including:

  • Assisting with recruitment and new employee onboarding
  • Providing staff with guidance on HR policies and procedures
  • Managing absence and holiday requests
  • Supporting performance management and employee communication
  • Updating and maintaining HR information systems
  • Preparing and processing payroll
  • Completing statutory reports
  • Organizing staff travel arrangements

This is a varied role that will involve providing support to the HR Manager and Business Unit General Manager on a range of tasks and projects.

**Requirements**

We are looking for an individual with:

CIPD qualification (ideally)At least two years of experience in HR generalist roles, with knowledge and experience in the above HR areasExcellent IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and ExcelExcellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and writtenStrong customer focus and interpersonal skillsAdaptability and flexibilityExcellent teamwork skillsGood analytical, planning, and organizational skillsResults-focused, with the ability to work independently
