Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, advisers, and third-party product providers, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of queries.
  • Establish and maintain accurate electronic client files, adhering to the firm's compliance procedures.
  • Process new business applications, maintaining up-to-date information and recording transactions efficiently.
  • Sources quotations, illustrations, and supporting documentation to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Prepare valuations, reports, and materials for client meetings, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Ensure all work adheres to the firm's compliance procedures, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Follow established procedures, systems, and templates for processing work, minimizing errors and delays.
  • Act proactively to prioritize workload, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Handle post and answer phone calls, providing exceptional customer service and support.

    Personal Qualities:

    • Maintain and increase technical knowledge, applying it effectively to support the team and clients.
    • Keep CPD records in accordance with the firm's T&D plan, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
    • Ensure client confidentiality and maintain awareness of new products and market developments.

    Qualifications/Capabilities:

    • Continuously improve qualifications and skills through a programme of personal development, as agreed with the firm.
    • Maintain an acceptable knowledge of the Regulatory framework, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

    Skills:

    • Understand information and documentation required to process new business, claims, and amendments to existing client policies and investments.
    • Keyboard and computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, Adviser Office, Papercloud, and Gateway.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with colleagues, clients, and companies.
    • High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

    Knowledge:

    • Understanding of the Regulatory framework and its implications for the financial services industry.
    • Knowledge of financial services products and their applications.
    • Experience with provider investment platforms and the ability to navigate complex systems.
    • Experience within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of its challenges and opportunities.
