An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Finance and Office Assistant to join Stone Tide, a rapidly growing business with a dynamic and flexible work environment.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of general ledgers and a minimum of 1-2 years of finance experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and providing administrative support to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll for the UK and US, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Address financial queries from internal and external stakeholders efficiently and professionally.
  • Conduct daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare management accounts and manage HMRC submissions.
  • Oversee office supplies, correspondence, and general administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of finance experience with a good understanding of general ledgers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero).
  • Experience producing statutory accounts and group consolidation accounts.
  • Payroll and office management experience.
