Job Title: Regional Technical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Technical Manager to join our team at Buchan and London Recruitment. As a key member of our Subsidence and Surveying Division, you will be responsible for providing professional subsidence and surveying services in connection with domestic and commercial buildings insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients, policyholders, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits to assess damage and provide recommendations for repair and reinstatement
  • Manage a portfolio of work within a regional area and assist in other areas as required
  • Develop and maintain accurate records on our claims management IT system
  • Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and third-party partners to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
  • Education to degree level in a relevant discipline, such as Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Building Surveying
  • Proven experience in subsidence and surveying services, with a strong understanding of insurance claims and building pathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
